We are the change

Heroes for Change is a for-profit, service-based organization harnessing the power of purpose-driven youth volunteers who have the resource of time, social capital and trust, who will deliver scalable social impact programmes in their own communities at low cost harnessing the power of technology. It was launched in 2017 and incubated under Unilever East Africa Bright Future fund. The overall objective was to create an open source, social mission, consumer volunteer programme with the aim to make a big impact at a low cost with a direct reach of 100,000 school children and new mothers. The programme is anchored on the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan linked to four global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
